The 2025-2026 leadership series continues to develop leadership thinking in a changing world. Our Principal Consultant, Ruth McGlone, will be running a new series of online sessions across the three terms. Ruth will focus on strategic thinking that will impact on school performance and outcomes. As with sessions in previous years, participants will consider different models from research, current practice, and be helped with supportive documentation to help both new and experienced heads in their roles.

The proposed Ofsted criteria is changing from Leadership and Management to Leadership and Governance. What is this subtle change? And as senior leaders are we spending more time managing than leading? This session will explore these differences and the impact of both managing and leading on school improvement.
