Small Schools' Network
The VNET Small Schools' Network gives practitioners a forum to network and seek support.
The VNET Small Schools’ Network provides practitioners with a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate and seek support from colleagues who understand the unique context of leading a small school.
VNET recognises both the significant contribution that small schools make across Norfolk and the distinct challenges faced by their leaders. Following the success of
previous years, we are pleased to continue our well-established Small Schools’ Network for 2026–27.
These online sessions will provide opportunities to:
Discuss current issues and challenges
Share effective practice and ideas
Build supportive professional relationships
Develop a strong network of small school leaders.
Discussion topics will be shaped by attendees, ensuring the network remains relevant, practical and responsive to the needs of members. Our aim is to create a welcoming forum where colleagues can support one another and share expertise with others who truly understand the realities of leading a small school.
Participation in the network is free. However, we encourage schools with a NOR of 100 or fewer to join the National Association of Small Schools, which offers additional nationwide networking opportunities.
We warmly welcome ideas and suggestions for future sessions and look forward to working together throughout the year.
