With the number of learners with additional needs rising, school leaders must ensure their curriculum is flexible enough for everyone. This session focuses on practical ways to design a curriculum that combines a strong ‘universal’ offer with targeted interventions and specialist support, taking into account the requirements of the new White Paper.

Audience: All settings with a high number of significant need including mainstream, specialist provisions, SRBs (Specialist Resource Bases), Enhanced SEND Provisions (ESPs), SHIPS.
This training will be delivered by VNET Associate Darleen Grimsby, Trust SENDCo, Inclusion Officer and author of Developing Educational Plans for Learners with SEND. She supports a network of schools to develop inclusive practices and provision for students with complex needs.
