This current, research-based presentation explores the diagnosis and common characteristics of Autism, focusing specifically on how these impact the young person. Written from a neurodiverse-affirming perspective, the session draws on a range of sources including in-school practice and information from the NAS and AET. With a particular emphasis on the intersection of mental health and Autism, the session will feature active discussion to help participants engage with the material.
