This half-day session will set out protocols and explore effective review activities, ensuring alignment with elements of the new inspection framework. The focus will be on visits to schools that wish to review key areas of school improvement. The session will cover:
- Rationale for Peer Review – Understanding its role in continuous school improvement
- Protocols, including safeguarding and confidentiality – Ensuring a safe and professional review process
- Framework for Peer Review – Structuring the process effectively within the new inspection framework
- Questioning – Developing effective lines of enquiry.
At the end of the session, you’ll be placed in a triad or tetrad with other schools. Each school will then take part in a supportive review cycle, visiting one another’s settings to examine an agreed focus area.
