Effective Appraisals of Teachers and TAs
The responsibility of conducting staff performance management is a significant and sometimes daunting aspect of headship, particularly if you are new to the leadership role. How do you establish protocols and design useful paperwork? How do you support colleagues in conducting a review? How do you ensure that objectives are appropriately challenging and measurable? This session is designed to give assurance and confidence in undertaking staff reviews and evaluation.
The 26/27 leadership series continues to develop leadership thinking in a changing world. Our Principal Consultant, Ruth McGlone, will be running this new series of online sessions across the three terms. Ruth will focus on strategic thinking that will impact on school performance and outcomes. As with sessions in previous years, participants will consider different models from research, current practice, and be helped with supportive documentation to help both new and experienced heads in their roles.
