Join us for a free, interactive KS1 moderation session combining training and moderation exercises with a particular focus on writing in KS1.

During this session teachers will be guided through key messages and lead standardisation activities to deepen understanding of assessment standards and the distinctions between them. Teachers will engage in discussions based on their own evidence bases, fostering collaborative insights.

Opportunities for standardising and moderating KS1 assessments remain invaluable for building confidence and ensuring accuracy in evaluation. Teachers can also benefit from professional networking with their peers within the same year groups.

Delegates will be expected to bring a collection of diverse evidence showcasing a range of children’s writing abilities.
