Join much loved author and poet Michael Rosen, as he reads his latest picture book ‘The Big Journey’ – the heartwarming sequel to ‘The Big Dreaming’ – which sees Big Bear and Little Bear set out on a Big Journey to find a new home.

This event was designed for pupils aged 5-7 but is also suitable for older or younger children.

A Day of Welcome is an annual school event that aims to build a culture of welcome and understanding for people seeking sanctuary. It’s designed to support teachers in kickstarting Refugee Week (15-21 June) by providing free live events, resources and activities for pupils of all ages.
