We’re hiring! Wanted, Digital Marketing Assistant

VNET Education CIC is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Digital Marketing Assistant

We are at an important stage of our development and in order to support our growth we are looking for a digital marketing assistant to support the marketing and operations function in the business.

We are a small team that makes a big impact, so you will need to be able to work flexibly, multi-task and employ your patience and excellent communication skills to support both the team and our members.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with the running of the online side of our events provision, including online ticketing, building online resources, membership access to website
  • Maintaining WordPress website (including creating pages to host online resources/videos etc.
  • Editing/creating videos
  • Graphic design (mostly limited to flyers/pdfs etc)
  • Design of presentation and training materials (Powerpoint)
  • Assisting with developing social media/communications and SEO strategies
  • Managing social media accounts (Twitter)
  • Managing blog
  • Managing SEO campaigns
  • Hosting online training sessions (Zoom/Teams/Google Meet) (to facilitate the trainer running the session)
  • Providing some administrative support to company administrator
  • Answering phone (web based system) and assisting members with general enquiries
  • Assisting with in-person conferences

Essential skills and experience:

  • Digital marketing experience
  • SEO experience
  • Video editing experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Proofreading experience preferable
  • WordPress
  • Powerpoint
  • Indesign (or similar) preferable
  • Maths and English GCSE essential
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferable.

Salary

£20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience

 

Full Time / Part Time, Permanent

 Location:

Blend of Home working and in our office at the UEA, Norwich

Hours:

Full time: Variable hours up to 40 hours/week; occasional weekend working to support conferences or other events.

OR

Part-time: Variable hours up to 40 hours/week; occasional weekend working to support conferences or other events.

 

The employee is entitled to the following paid holiday:

All Bank and other Public Holidays, and unlimited holidays above statutory minimum provided such periods are agreed with the employee’s manager. The nature of the company’s business means that the employee should plan most holidays to be taken during school holiday periods.

Start date

September/October 2021

Pension

The Company will contribute an employer contribution of 3% of basic salary to an approved pension scheme for the employee under the auto-enrolment duty. The employee is required to contribute a minimum of 5% of basic salary to the approved pension scheme.
