The Science Professional Community will be facilitated and supported by VNET Science SLE, David Beake.
The Science Professional Community will:
- Provide an opportunity for science leads from all primary age ranges to meet and stay up to date with primary science practice
- Develop ideas and skills to provide children with the best science education possible
- Share personalised development within a network of supportive colleagues and a flexible programme which adapts to the needs of the group as a whole.
The aim of the series of sessions is always to promote and improve the offer of science learning and teaching in the member schools, leading to better outcomes for all pupils.
Collaboration is encouraged and a sense of teamwork is a valuable feature of the community as our members often face shared issues in their schools such as improving assessment or developing progression in working scientifically. Input from experts will be sought as appropriate.
