Taking your SEF for a drive and avoiding the bumps in the road!

Wednesday, December 8, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

During this session we will explore our Self Evaluations Forms (SEFs) and the best ways to test the assertions leaders have made within them.

By looking at the trends of current outcomes, we will be able to explore common issues and potential blind spots that some leadership teams develop.

We will reflect on how to test where our provisions are weakest and strongest. We will also look at how we can use the SEF to inform our schools improvement plans, based on what we have found.

By the end of the session colleagues will have a clear picture of how they can use an accurate SEF to provide the drive and leverage needed for wider and faster school improvement.

Audience: Headteachers and Principals.

Objectives: To enable senior leaders to be secure in their SEF judgements.

Outcomes: Colleagues will be aware of many of the current pitfalls in forming judgements within their SEFs and how to improve their accuracy.

This course is for VNET Members only.
