School Administrators/Business Managers’ Network Meeting – Building Personal Resilience

Thursday, June 9, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

We are pleased to be joined by Stephanie Hillier-Dixon of the YMCA who will deliver a session on building personal resilience.  School business managers, administrators and reception staff often work in challenging circumstances in schools whether that is due to workload, demands of school life, challenging parental interactions or simply the demands of juggling a busy role. So this session is aimed at supporting colleagues in those roles.

This introduction to building professional resilience session will include:

  • An understand of resilience, what the term means and what it means to us
  • How resilience can help us in facing professional challenges
  • To learn how to use the Resilience Framework as a tool in developing resilience-building strategies
  • To share good practice and explore practical strategies
  • Mindfulness practice.
