A Toolkit for Relational Leadership: Positive Psychology
Thursday, September 15, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Relational leadership is at the forefront of transforming educational settings. This reflective and informative session, led by Kevin Holland, will support leaders in how they communicate and interact with all stakeholders, to have the greatest impact – with a consideration for personal and professional well-being as central.
This training provides an opportunity for all staff to reflect and unpick their own actions, behaviours, and outcomes from these. It takes a thought-provoking look at how the mind works and how the ‘thinking cycle’ dramatically impacts individuals, groups and organisations progress.
It also provides an opportunity to build efficacy amongst the key staff and stakeholders in an organisation and how to support everyone in reflecting on their own thinking. Positivity is key during this training and at the very centre of the session.
Training Objectives: To consider research and practical examples (plus implementation strategies) for a relational leadership style in schools.
Delegates will:
- Develop an understanding of the research, impact, and methodology for relational leadership.
- Develop autonomy, purpose and mastery of all stakeholders through a relational approach to leadership.
- Consider the ‘thinking cycle’ and a positive psychology approach to professional conversations and wider dialogue.
