Securing Good Attendance

Following on from the successful ‘dealing with’ leadership sessions in 2022/23, our Principal Consultant Ruth McGlone will be running a new series of compelling sessions in 2024/25.

Each half term Ruth will lead participants to explore an aspect of leadership that can have a huge impact on the day to day running of our schools. The series of 6 online sessions will consider current practice and relevant legislation where appropriate. She will give clear strategies and toolkits that will support both new and experienced heads as well as senior leaders in their roles.

The series will address the following:

  • Securing good attendance – 25 September 2024
  • Handling significant or vexatious complaints – 28 November 2024
  • Parental engagement – How has this changed since Covid and how can we support more parents to get involved? – 4 February 2025
  • Handling staff conflict – 5 March 2025
  • The Headteacher and Chair of Governors – building a successful supportive relationship – 7 May 2025
  • Building resilience as a Headteacher – 26 June 2025
