Leadership Forum 2 – Termly update

Thursday, January 13, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

We are pleased that Rachel Macfarlane, author of ‘Obstetrics for Schools: a guide to eliminating failure and ensuring the safe delivery of all learners’ and Director of Education Services at Herts for Learning, will lead our next termly online Leadership Forum session on Thursday 13 January 2022, 10.00 – 11.30 am.

Too many of our children are leaving school having failed to reach expected standards of educational outcomes, be it ARE at Year 6 or GCSE standard pass in English and Maths at age 16. The most disadvantaged groups are disproportionately represented amongst the education ‘fatalities’.

Does it have to be like this and what are those schools which are achieving high performance outcomes for virtually all of their pupils doing differently?

By drawing on her experience of 16 years of headship, referring to findings from recent research and using illustrations from case studies of excellent practice form across the country, Rachel will examine some of the barriers that lead to fatalities and explore what leaders can do to ensure a high performance culture in their schools.

Free to members.

This course is for VNET Members only.
