
Internal Alternative Provision Project

Schools are having to deal with an increasing number of children who struggle to cope with mainstream education due to learning, wellbeing and safeguarding challenges. This can lead to children being excluded from mainstream classrooms, or excluding themselves through non-attendance.
Internal Alternative Provision (IAP) can be an essential part of the system to support these children in school. IAP can increase attendance, limit the use of internal exclusion and reduce suspensions.

Dates:
- Thursday 9 November 2023, 13.00 – 16.00
- Thursday 18 January 2024, 13.00 – 16.00
- Thursday 14 March 2024, 13.00 – 16.00
- Thursday 9 May 2024, 13.00 – 16.00
Booking below will sign the delegate up to all sessions of the project. The confirmation email will include a Zoom link which will be the same for each online session. In September the delegates will receive an email asking them to set up a password to create an account in order to access all resources.
