Dealing with Staff Conflict

Wednesday, May 3, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

School can be a stressful place to work and on occasions this can spill over into disagreements between staff. This course will guide leaders on thinking about how to avoid those disagreements between staff in the first place by developing successful positive relationships.

However, if they do arise, leaders will be guided on how to try to resolve them amicably before the need to involve more professional support.

Training objectives
  • To think objectively about building successful relationships between staff
  • To be able to develop successful strategies to deal with conflict.
Learning Outcomes
  • To have the confidence to deal with staff conflict.
  • To think about employing strategies to avoid it in the first place.

The course is led by Ruth McGlone, ex-headteacher with extensive leadership experience.
