Are your policies and procedures for dealing with significant parental complaints clear and robust?
Dealing with significant parental complaints can be challenging for leaders in both the use of time and personal energy. Clear policies and procedures in how to deal with persistent, vexatious complainants or unreasonable complaints are important to ensure that these are dealt with fairly and equitably.
The session will cover not only preventative measures and how best to communicate in such challenging circumstances, but will give tools and tips on such matters as how to record outcomes of meetings, when to stop responding and dealing with abusive visitors.
The course is led by Ruth McGlone, an ex-headteacher with extensive leadership experience.
