Continuous Provision in Year 1 – Sharing Best Practice

Wednesday, March 16, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Being a Year 1 teacher presents some unique challenges, especially when implementing continuous provision in a year group full of children hugely impacted socially by Covid lockdowns. Colman Infant School have started on a journey of switching from more formally structured lessons to a continuous provision approach that values play and they want to share their practice and to hear about other experiences of this too.
They are striving to give their children time to explore concepts covered in class, as well as their own interests too, all whilst balancing the demands of the National Curriculum.
Join us at this free webinar to hear about their successes, struggles and everything in between. Julie Sandford, Head of Colman Federation, wanted to share this in their schools but were inundated with requests! So we have teamed up with Colman Infant to bring you this Zoom session and also a follow-up conference on Wednesday 22 June 2022 where Anna Ephgrave will join us in Norwich to deliver a morning session. Further details coming soon…
