DESCRIPTION:These sessions will help Year 6 teachers and Maths subject leaders use their 2026 KS2 SATs outcomes\, MTC (Multiplication Tables Check) data\, QLA breakdowns\, and national comparison data to plan focused improvements. Delegates must bring their own school’s Mathematics data\, including MTC results\, to the session. \nThrough structured analysis of their own results\, participants will identify key strengths\, areas for development\, and trends across pupil groups. These online sessions will explore strategies for refining curriculum planning\, adapting teaching approaches\, and targeting interventions to address identified gaps. There will be a clear focus on using evidence to drive sustained improvement in mathematical fluency\, reasoning\, and problem-solving. \nSession Content: \n\nHow to interpret your KS2 Mathematics\, MTC\, and QLA data to inform strategic priorities\nUnderstanding national and local performance trends for context\nIdentifying key gaps in number fluency\, calculation\, reasoning and problem-solving\nReviewing the impact of previous mathematics provision and planning curriculum adjustments\nDeveloping targeted teaching and intervention approaches based on identified needs\nSetting clear\, evidence-informed actions for teaching and subject leadership in Mathematics.\n\nTarget Audience: Year 6 Teachers and Subject Leaders\nDates: \n\nSession 1: Thursday 5 November 2026\, 4.00pm – 5.30pm\nSession 2: Tuesday 9 February 2027\, 4.00pm – 5.30pm\n\nPlease note: You must attend both sessions – Delegates need to bring their school’s 2026 KS2 Mathematics outcomes\, MTC data\, and QLA data with them to this session.\n
