SUMMARY:The PE Network 26/27
DESCRIPTION:Leading Physical Education in a primary school can at times be an isolating task. PE is a unique curriculum subject\, requiring leaders to consider curriculum design\, teaching & learning\, assessment\, inclusion\, physical activity\, staff confidence and professional development. \nOur Primary Physical Education Professional Community provides subject leaders and co-ordinators with a supportive network of colleagues who understand the opportunities and challenges of leading PE in a primary school. \nThe community provides meaningful professional development focused specifically on primary PE\, enabling leaders to collaborate\, share ideas and resources\, develop their practice and keep up to date with national developments.. \nHigh-quality Physical Education plays an important role in every child’s primary education. It develops physical competence\, confidence and knowledge\, while providing opportunities for children to experience success\, work with others and develop positive attitudes towards being active. For schools\, strong PE leadership helps ensure that PE is well planned\, inclusive\, progressive and valued as part of the wider curriculum – rather than simply a series of physical activities or sporting opportunities. \nOur Professional Community supports PE leaders to make this happen by providing the knowledge\, support\, challenge and professional network needed to continually improve the quality of PE across their school. We look forward to meeting you! \nDates: \n\nWednesday 4 November 2026\, 1.45pm – 4.00pm\nThursday 11 February 2027\, 1.45pm – 4.00pm\nTuesday 15 June 2027\, 1.45pm – 4.00pm\n\nPlease book tickets for all sessions below.

SUMMARY:Norfolk School Leaders' Conference
DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by Norfolk School Leaders’ Association and VNET Education CIC\n  \nKeynote – Leadership Resilience with Nicola S. Morgan\nNicola Morgan delivers a powerful keynote on resilience that breaks into four actionable strategies drawing from her gruelling solo English Channel swim. First\, she focuses on reframing failure\, sharing how her initial failed attempt became a roadmap for future success rather than a final defeat. Second\, she explores if ‘no’\, what next\, teaching audiences how to pivot constructively when facing absolute blockades. Third\, she emphasises changing old ways that aren’t working\, using mindset resets and behavioural shifts to break through rigid patterns. Finally\, she demonstrates why attention is a superpower\, showing how laser-sharp\, disciplined focus keeps individuals steady under immense pressure. \nKeynote – Nine Steps to Executive Leadership – Paul K. Ainsworth\nIn this keynote\, Paul guides successful school leaders through the turbulent transition into executive leadership. Tailored for newly appointed executives who find their proven headship strategies no longer apply\, the session provides a clear roadmap to navigate this high-stakes shift. Ainsworth systematically deconstructs his “nine steps to executive leadership.” He brings these principles to life using engaging\, real-world anecdotes and powerful quotes drawn from his extensive career across multiple academy trusts. Concluding with actionable takeaways\, the keynote equips leaders with the mindset\, strategic vision\, and practical tools needed to thrive at the executive level. \nAll the information about this conference can be found here.\n  \nFor group bookings of 10+ please contact us for a 10% discount.
